Pricing
AI agent development cost, what drives itScope sets price.
AI agent development cost depends on how many steps the agent handles, which systems it connects to and how much it decides alone. Here is what the market says and how we quote.

Government contracting
Proposals cut from 60 hours to under one.
A federal contractor bidding on $10M+ contracts could only submit 3–4 proposals a quarter, because each one took about 60 hours to assemble by hand. We built an AI workflow that pulls past performance, checks compliance and formats to spec, so the team now submits 12+ a quarter.

85% of support tickets resolved by AI.
A SaaS company with 50,000+ users had its best agents answering the same questions all day, and customers waited two hours for a reply. We built an AI assistant trained on their past tickets that answers instantly and hands complex cases to a person with full context.

Claims processed 75% faster.
A regional insurer's adjusters spent 70% of their time on routine claims, so every claim took 15 days. We built an AI that reads the documents and photos, checks the policy and recommends a decision, so adjusters only handle the complex cases.

Every lead contacted in under 20 seconds.
A home goods brand spending $40K a month on ads took 6–12 hours to reply to new leads, so many bought elsewhere. We built an AI system that replies by SMS, email or voice call within 20 seconds, day or night.

Manual invoice entry eliminated.
A boutique law firm's paralegals spent a quarter of their time retyping invoices, so billing ran late. We built an AI assistant that reads every invoice, matches it to the right case in Clio and syncs it to QuickBooks.

The problem
Why AI agent quotes differ so much
$20K-$250K
The range one 2026 estimate gives for most AI development projects.

Share of agentic AI projects Gartner expects to be canceled by the end of 2027.

Roughly how many agentic AI vendors Gartner considers real, out of thousands.
One vendor sells a simple question bot, another builds a system that runs a whole process. Both get called an agent, so prices are hard to compare. The AI agent vs chatbot comparison shows why.
- Unclear quotes: A vague monthly fee with no defined scope or end date. How we quote: One fixed price for an agreed scope, shown before work starts.
- Unclear quotes: A chatbot rebranded as an agent, priced like a full system. How we quote: The scope names the steps, systems and decisions the agent covers.
- Unclear quotes: Integrations and changes appear as extra charges later. How we quote: Integrations are listed and priced in the proposal.
- Unclear quotes: No way to judge whether the project will pay back. How we quote: Payback is estimated from your own hours and costs.

What AI answers when buyers ask
We asked ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity 10 buyer questions about AI agent development. They named 103 companies, and 79% appeared in only one of the three.

What you get
What the price covers
- A written scope that names the steps, systems and decisions the agent handles
- A single fixed price for the agreed scope, set before any work
- Integrations with your CRM, inbox, phone and accounting tools, listed up front

How it works
The Payback Loop. Five steps. Each build pays for the next.
We don't start with the AI. We start with the money.

Consulting
First, we find the manual work in your company and how many hours each task eats every week.
Process mapConsulting
Each process gets a dollar figure and a rank by payback. You see what to automate first, and what to leave alone.
AI roadmap, ranked by paybackImplementation
We build the first system on the tools you already use. Nothing new for your team to learn.
A working systemImplementation
Every system is tested end to end before launch. It doesn't go live until it works without errors.
Tested, system liveSupport
The first build pays back fastest, so its savings fund the next one. Back to the map, and we keep every system running.

Consultancies stop at the roadmap. Freelancers build without one. The loop only works when one team runs all five. You approve each step; we do the work.
FAQ
Questions about AI agent cost.
- Market estimates are wide. One 2026 source puts most AI development projects between $20,000 and $250,000. Where an agent lands in that range depends on scope, systems and how much it decides alone. The wider AI development cost page covers custom AI beyond agents.
- Smaller scope costs less. An agent that handles one process on one or two tools sits at the low end, while several channels and connected systems push the price up. We quote one fixed price once the scope is clear, as in our AI agent development work.
- Model usage, monitoring and upkeep continue after launch. Research on agent projects also found that most of the effort goes into data engineering, governance and workflow integration, not the model itself. Ask for those items to be priced up front.
- An agent makes its own decisions, which Anthropic notes means higher costs and the chance of errors compounding. Monitoring and human review reduce that risk, and they belong in the budget.
- You can prototype one with free or low-cost tools. A prototype rarely handles your real data, your systems or failures reliably. Production use needs integration, testing and monitoring, and that is where the cost sits.
- We study your site and tools first, then hold a free 30-minute diagnosis call. A fixed-price proposal follows, with exact scope and timeline, before any work begins.
- Payback is possible, but not automatic. One Google Cloud survey found 74% of executives reporting ROI within the first year, while Gartner warns many agentic projects lack clear value. Calculating automation ROI before you commit is the safeguard.
